Hey friends! The summer is slowly wrapping up and school will be starting, which means birthday parties with new friends for the kiddos! If you’re looking for a fun favor box but can’t find the right kind, then make your own! Here’s how you can customize your own favor boxes to match any theme.
Supplies:
–Basis Cardstock in white
–Gold Glitter Cardstock
–Tombow Multi-Purpose Adhesive
-Home printer
-Cutting machine
To begin, I used my Silhouette Studio software and imported a box design.
Then I filled the box outline with a striped design so I could have some pattern on the finished box.
With Silhouette Studio, you add registration marks that your machine can read and then knows exactly where to cut!
After my box shape was printed on Basis Cardstock in white and then cut out with my Silhouette Cameo, it’s time to assemble!
First I added glue to my gold glitter bow and made sure it was adhered really well. Then I added some Tombow glueto the tab on the box and adhered it together as well.
Once the glue was dry, I then adhered the bow to the box. I love how this gold glitter cardstock makes a simple box look so fancy!
To finish off, I tied a little tag to the box. Fill it with candy and you’ve got yourself some wonderful customized party favor boxes!
Be sure to snag some white cardstock and leave a comment below! Happy creating!
