Hi crafty friends! It’s Crystal here to share a bookmark.
Summer is coming to an end. My kiddos go back next week. Both of my girls love to read – this summer, we have been to the library more times than I can count, and every time we walk out with a massive tower of books.
So, I thought a would share this bookmark I made.
I started with 110 lb Solar White Neenah Classic Crest cardstock. I wanted the bookmark to be durable and last through a few books.
First, I trimmed the 110 lb Solar White Neenah Classic Crest cardstock down to 2″ x 6″ and stamped my image on the bottom with Versafine black ink. I made a mask for the bookshelf so I could stamp the mouse sitting on the shelf.
Then I stamped “Pamper your-shelf” at the bottom of the bookmark. I used a little circle die to cut a hole at the top of the bookmark.
Then, I added a little die cut piece of paper over the hole to make it a little bit more sturdy and tied some ribbon for the hole at the top to finish off the bookmark.
Thanks for stopping by today!
