Hi Crafty friends.
My house has been busy with the start of a new school year everyone needs to adjust to a new routine. Mornings are so early I tried to get up by 6:30 all summer to keep up with the early mornings but it didn’t help since we need to get up way earlier.
Ok onto the project I have to share today. I made a card with Classic Linen Pearl White card stock, Cougar White Smooth card stock , Pop-Tone A2 card stock in Snow Cone, and Razzleberry
I started out by die cutting a 5″ X 3 3/4″ double stitched rectangle out of Classic Linen Pearl White card stock.
I took that rectangle and a polka dot stencil and inked it with Distress ink in- peacock feathers, picked raspberry, spiced marmalade, mustered seed.
I stamped the image onto Cougar White Smooth card stock with Memento black ink.
I colored the image in with alcohol markers.
I die cut a hexagon with a stitched die.
Then I stamped the sentiment “IT’S YOUR BIRTHDAY PIG OUT!” on the die cut hexagon.
After the image was colored in I fussy cut it out.
I adhered the hexagon with the sentiment centered toward the bottom of the polka doted rectangle. Then I adhered the guinea pigs above the sentiment. I matted the polka dot rectangle onto pop-Tone A2 card stock in Snow Cone, and then onto Pop-Tone Razzleberry card stock.
Thanks for stopping by today!
