Kids are back in school, the days are a little shorter, and a new season is just around the corner. Can you believe that? Fall is filled with all sorts of beautiful, deep colors and wonderful smells. To celebrate the changing of the seasons, deliver a fun treat box to a neighbor or friend and cheer them up! Here’s how to make one:
Supplies:
–Orange Zest Discount Cardstock
–Neutral Kraft Discount Card Stock
-Twine
-candy corn or fall treat
-die cutting machine
–Tombow adhesive
Begin by cutting out the pieces of the treat box with a die cutter or an electronic cutting machine. I used a Silhouette Cameo. For the top, I used Orange Zest Cardstock to showcase the leaf design, and for the bottom, I used Kraft cardstock.
Next, grab your favorite quick-drying adhesive (I used Tombow) and glue the box tabs together after folding them along the scored lines.
Do the same for the lid of the box.
Now fill your box with your favorite autumn treat! My kids love candy corn so that was a must.
Grab a piece of twine and tie a fun tag to the box and gift it to a neighbor, friend, or anyone who needs something cheery to brighten their day!
Treat boxes are some of my favorite things to make because they are simple, yet so beautiful when you have the right paper. Be sure to check out all the wonderful fall colors at cutcardstock.com and see what fun boxes you can create!
